Chocolate Strawberry Oreo!

We're just in the first month of the year, and we already have a new Oreo flavor. Maybe this is a sign things are looking up.

Blueberry Pie Oreo Cookies!

I like Oreo. I like pie. 7 times out of 10, if there's a choice between cake or pie, I'll go with the pie. Cake is good and all, but if I'm being completely honest, most of it is pretty boring. Delicious, but boring. Pie on the other hand, is a study in contrasts. You've got the warm, gooey filling, surrounded by that nice, crisp crust. A sweet kiss, enveloped in a savory hug. Oooh yeah..Add a dollop of whip cream or some ice cream, and you'll have a meal. Or a threesome. I'm not sure where my imagery is going at the moment, but you should keep reading and learn more about Blueberry Pie Oreo Cookies.

They say good things come to those who wait...

I've been lazy this month, but I've found that I don't feel as motivated to blog since I'm not using social media. That's all about to change in less than a week. You see, my favorite time of the year has just arrived, and I can feel those blogging juices bubbling to the surface once again. October is going to be a busy month, a lot busier than the past two years. I'm not promising to post every day, but I'm certainly planning on filling most of this month with Fall themed snacks, toys, movies, and Halloween goodness.

This year, even my local Food Lion is on their game. I've found things I've only been able to read about, and some things that are completely new to me.

Yep, October is looking like it's going to be a fun month indeed.

Now, let's just hope I didn't just jinx myself..

Reese's Peanut Butter Cup Oreos

Oreos are my favorite cookie. There are no exceptions to that statement. I'll buy other cookies, but I almost always end up thinking, "Man, I really should have gone with the Oreos". The same goes with Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, known from now on as PBC's. I have some candies that are seasonal favorites, but the rest of the year, the Reese's PBC's are king. That's why, when I heard that Nabisco was going to combine two of my favorite treats, I immediately drove to the store in search of them. Then I went home, re-read the article, and discovered I still had two weeks before they were available. I was so excited, I wasn't even upset about wasting 7 dollars worth of gas.
