I'm not a fan of candy corn. It's not that I actively dislike it, but it's never my first choice of candy. It's just the wrong kind of sweet, and it has that weird waxy texture. I have a hard time with any softer candies that don't actually melt in your mouth. And when they finally melt, they don't get smooth and liquid. No, they fall apart in soft chunks, like a zombie that's been in the water for too long. Imagine my surprise, then, when I saw that Brach's had discovered my one weakness, and combined it with their waxy Halloween candies.

It's not officially Fall yet, but that hasn't stopped everyone from declaring that the Halloween season has begun. As much as I hate when stores jump the gun on putting out seasonal merchandise, I have to admit that I've gotten a little caught up in the Fall fever. I kept seeing pictures of the goodies that all of you have been finding on your shopping trips, and I have to admit I was getting a little frustrated by the lack of Halloween-ish product up in here. Well, my local stores are starting to catch up, so I'll be able to start showcasing my favorite finds. This time, I'm having a peek at Entenmann's Pumpkin Donuts.
